A little bit of History…
The event started because we had a desire to share recipies of good healthy food with friends from the community. Our goal was to let them experience how wonderful the Holidays could be with out ham or turkey, crazy as that may sound. After our first event, November of 1988, the popularity grew quickly and we now must sell tickets in advance. Each year we host this event to a sell-out crowd and serve over 650 guests. Our event has served as a model for many successful tasting events of its kind across the country. We are glad to have a part in sharing ideas and insight about the art of creating and serving elegant vegetarian Holiday meals. I never dreamed we would still be at this after 25 years. Neither did many of the cooks, or volunteers who have been with me each year. This event would have never been possible without the loving dedication of many excellent cooks willing to work and give of their time, money and talent to share their favorite family holiday traditions.
